Dubai Islands consists of five islands situated at the mouth of Dubai Creek.

It is a low density development with mid rise apartment buildings villas, resorts, two golf courses and lots of green spaces and pleasure areas. The development was supposed to become Palm Deira, Dubai`s the largest palm shaped Island.

After the global financial crisis in 2009, the development stopped and was recently reshaped into five islands over 17 square kilometers. Its coastline includes more than 20 kilometers of beach front.
